I see you.
Showcase who you are with photos! Natural light portraits in a variety of settings perfect for business owners, artists, writers, musicians, realtors or anyone needing to show the world who they are.
Head shots and portrait sessions that allow you to show who you are. Using a combination of natural light, good locations, fun, and professionalism to bring out the you everyone needs to see.
My sessions are not about posing or sitting for an hour. It's about being together, laughing, and capturing a slice of your life as it is now. Your kids don't need to be perfect for me. I'm actually hoping they won't be.
Fun and silliness and snuggles and sometimes serious faces. I’m ready for whatever pieces of their personality they want to show.
Your Kids are funny/honest/real. Here’s proof.
Food competitions and road races, parades and protests, celebrations for a cause and silent auctions… I have covered many kinds of events and love to document people coming together for a common cause.
I approach them the same as I do my other work - engage when needed, let things unfold naturally and document the rest of the time.
Trained to photograph Stills on Set at Maine Media Workshops, I have worked on various projects in Maine and Los Angeles. As a photographer I am often working solo, but on a film set I get to work in a creative & collaborative space. It’s amazing to document and be part of all the moving parts that make a project come together.
What if you could get a photographer to come into your business for part of a day and capture what nobody else gets to see? What if these images helped tell your story and build your business? Would you do it?
If you said yes, then we should talk. Because that is what I do, and I want to help you share your story and grow your business.
Years ago (really - I was in my twenties and shooting film) my fellow photographer friend and I documented our lives for months and had a joint photo exhibit. We met weekly to critique eachother’s work, and would head out to print our best shots and keep shooting until the next time we met. It still remains a highlight of my photo life, and helped me refine my photographic style.
In 2017 I worked on a photo a week project, in 2018 I did a photo a DAY. In 2019 I am continuing with the Photo A Day Project because I wasn’t ready to stop at the New Year.
These projects have given me chances to take the time to capture the people around me, doing everyday things, and return to this style of documentary work I love so much.
Roller Derby is a sport and a place where strong people come together to win at life while being on roller skates.
The images here involve Maine Roller Derby and Casco Bay Roller Derby (and a few others mixed in), which are the two leagues currently based in Portland, Maine.
